Free People Dress

Nottinghill

Birkenstocks

Smock dress
Dress - Free People. Shoes - Birkenstocks co/ Zalando . Sunglasses - Rayban.

So I’ve died and gone to little smock heaven somewhere near Notting Hill station.
Another day wondering London, Kristabel and myself stumble on this delightful row of colourful houses. They seem to be painted perfectly to match the stitching on my dress – don’t you just love when a blog outfit and location comes together.
Now if only I could actually live in one of these houses, that’s when real dreams would come true.

Back to reality and one thing I do own is this New Romantics RioFree People dress. I don’t want to sound like a broken record but I do love a good ol’ smock dress. This will be the first thing I pack tomorrow for my holidays! IF the air strikes stop and I actually get to go.

Having owned Birkenstocks as a youngster, to the mere horror of my friends I might add. I welcomed the Birkenstock back with a proud smile on my face. Admittedly they’re an ‘ugly shoe’ but boy are they comfy.
Now that shoe in question is deemed "fashionable" it was Zalando I finally hunted down the last pair of size 6. If you follow my instagram you can see I wear them A LOT!

Be sure to check in with all my other sociable outlets to see my holiday shenanigans, blog posts to follow! YIPEE!

Urban Outfitters culottes

Daniel Footwear

Top and Culottes - Urban Outfitters. Shoes - Daniel Footwear c/o. Jacket - H&M

Last week I spent a day with blogging chum Kristabel, a regular occurrence when I arrive in London. We hit up some press days. Oh Bertie shoes I am looking forward to seeing you again.  Then of course we took some blog snaps.
The weather was rather hot last week if you didn’t already notice and in true Kim fashion I hadn’t packed quite as well as I had hoped.  *Someone please get my off this moving sauna called the underground*
My saving grace, these Urban Outfitters culottes. A word that may have previously sent shudders down my skin, now has grown on me. They are perfect for city living – manoeuvring around escalators and stairs without a care in the world. Floaty enough to keep me cool but sophisticated enough for meetings that day. Feeling somewhat Parisian with my white shirt and trench coat (which I enviably carried)
I'm not usually one for animal print but I couldn’t resist these Daniel Footwear sliders – was it my rekindled love affair with Birkenstocks? or just drawn to something new? Who knows, but one things for sure I’ve been living in these little pair of loveliness since they arrived.

Sorry for not being very consistent with posts lately, I have lots of exciting things to follow and promise to try and get back on track :)

Have a lovely weekend everyone x

ASOS FF Co-ord Challenge.

ASOS FF
Tropical Shorts & Jacket - ASOS c/o

I was really excited to share my style challenge set by ASOS FF for this post. One co-ord, five ways. That’s the best thing about a co-ord set. Not only is it one cute outfit in itself but separate it and you get a whole host of other styles.

Casual

Co-Ord
First up is just a simple casual look. The co-ord is a pretty cool stand out jacket and shorts combo. I thought keeping the rest simple would let it do all the talking and in true love cloth style, simple is always my favourite approach to styling.
Team with a basic T-shirt, silver sandals from Clarks and metallic Topshop bag!

Dressy

Jacket
Look two is a more sophisticated take on the look. Well, as much as you can be with a tropical blazer and ripped jeans. Ok, so I don’t do sophisticated but I think this dresses up jeans and top perfectly for heading for a cocktail or two.

Tropical Shorts

Holiday styling
Going on holiday? or maybe the sun will finally make an appearance. Look Three is how I’ll be wearing the shorts. Worn with this super soft denim look top, sandals and of course summer calls for a straw hat.

Tropical Shorts

Sporty
My fourth look is probably the closest I get to sporty, although my trainer collection is growing. I love my New Balance and teamed with my Topshop sweat and super cute Brit-Stitch backpack. I can see this look being one of my go to ways to wear.

ASOS Co-Ord

Wedding
Ok, I’ll let you in on a little secret; I think this is my favourite look. I just wish I had more occasions to wear it like this. I’m thinking birthdays, nights out or a fancy dinner perhaps….
Quick question, do we think you could wear this as a wedding guest?
Worn with a crisp white shirt and tan heels, alongside this amazing bag from Reiss. I feel like I should be heading on a cruise in Miami but a las I am not.

Hey who needs a holiday when you can bring it yourself with this cute little tropical co-ord.
I'd love to know your favourite look :)
Big thanks to ASOS FF for the challenge - check out more here!
