NYE.

Ten days spent back home. It’s been so lovely to switch off from work and all things social, although I’ve still be trying to keep up with instagram and snapchat. 
New Years Resolution 1: Take time to switch off and also stick to a better blogging schedule. (more resolutions to come)

WINTER BEAUTY ROUTINE.

The winter plays havoc on my skin; the heating, the cold and the wind all come together to make it go a little crazy. I would usually have quite dry skin and this is only made worse during the colder months.
A few things I usually do to combat this is to make sure everything I’m putting onto my face is hydrating and give it a little more TLC.

Elemis is a firm favourite since trying back in 2010. My all time favourite product being the pro collagen cleansing balm. This powerful, Elemis deep cleansing balm dissolves make-up, daily grime and pollutants but without leaving my skin feeling dry. I will always combine this with the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream.

CHRISTMAS WRAPPED UP.

The final count down is on for Christmas & I’m feeling rather festive, now I’m back home in Northern Ireland. This week I’ll be spending most of my time catching up with friends, visiting family and for the first time in 6 years, Simon will be spending Christmas day in N.I too. Yippee!

Christmas Afternoon Tea - Pont St.

For one month only the Christmas afternoon tea at Pont St is a feast for the eyes and the belly. Featuring all the classic British flavours of yuletide and gingerbread. The best way to spend a Saturday with blogging chum Kristabel and of course the perfect opportunity to wear my new fancy Reiss attire.

THE CAPE COAT.

Cold, crisp days are my favourite, perfect for long walks on beautiful winter afternoons. Wrapped up in this amazing cape from Boden; as per usual it was the collar that sold it too me. 
This heritage-inspired cape comes with a faux fur collar and real leather trim. The secret ingredient is wool by Abraham Moon & Sons – a Yorkshire mill with 170 years of history behind it.

I have never owned a pair of knee hight boots. For a few difference reason but top of that list was that I could never find a pair that fit nice and snug around my legs. Ted & Muffy allows your to measure your calfs and get the best fit for you. This is a game changer for me.

WINTER TREATS.

It’s dark, it’s cold and all you want to do is sit inside and keep warm but when cosy winter nights in just don’t cut it. Here are a few things I would recommend doing during the month of December.

London Grace.

A nail salon, café and bar all in one. Need I say more? The perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon catching . I kept cosy with a hot chocolate catching up with Lucie whilst being pampered in the prettiest salon.

I got the hunky dory in a dark burgundy, perfect for winter and it lasted a good 2weeks.

Matilda.

I’ve seen quite a few shows, Cats, War Horse, Billy Elliot etc. All have been really good… but Matilda, was EXCELLENT.

Everything you would want from a musical; fantastic set design, perfect sing-along-songs, amazing cast and laugh out loud funny, whilst being a slight tear jerker. 

If you get the opportunity – I couldn’t recommend this enough.

Egg Break

Comfort food is all you need the month of December and eggs are up there right?

Egg Break as the name suggests, every dish on the menu features eggs in some shape or form but don’t go expecting something simple like eggs on toast (fear not, it’s there too) Try Pork belly, organic fried egg and sriracha sauce in a bun or fried chicken bap with egg and added Avo, bacon and hash browns and finish with a Chocolate tart with marsh mallows to name a few. *drools*
