EDINBURGH.

It's been a bit of a whirlwind September.  With a flight every weekend, I'm looking forward to October in London and catching up on some much needed life admin.

A few weeks ago I got invited on a foodie trip to Edinburgh. Food and travel? Two of my favourite things. This saw myself and 7 other bloggers hit up the city with Laurent from The Scotch Kitchen. We wined and dined (beef & lamb of course) on amazing food and even headed to the farm to learn all about where our meat comes from, something which has always been an interest of mine… I even learnt how to debone a lamb shoulder. I'll tell you all about it & a little more about Edinburgh in my next post.

For now, what I wore. With a rep for being a little chilly (something I'm very much used to coming from Northern Ireland) I thought it was now time to wear my first roll neck of the autumn, paired with a new colour of dungarees and my favourite fedora. 
Recently discovered. 
Tall Topshop dungarees fit me so much better than regular. I wouldn't say I'm particularly tall at 5,6' but these definitely have that extra length plus a turn up that i'm loving. Just incase you have the same problem.

Apologies for this non-weather appropriate outfit post. It was taken a few weeks back and got lost in the blogging backlog. Did someone say a heatwave in October? Probably not, but as I’m just back from Barcelona I'm still in summer mode. Plus there’s more where this came from, so watch this space for some Barcelona snaps.

A dress Simon picked himself as a surprise pressie and it’s now a firm Favourite - from my all time Favourite brand YMC aka You Must Create. I also think it will work Equally as well with a roll neck & some tights when I finally face facts - winter is coming.

IT'S NOT OVER.

Summer keeps teasing us with little spurts of sunshine. Enough to get my pins out a couple more times.

This weekend I’ve ventured home to Northern Ireland – which hasn’t been just as warm (someone pass the polo neck) but it’s been lovely to catch up on well needed rest and visiting friends.

WHATEVER THE WEATHER.

Whatever the weather I can always do bare legs. 

As long as I’m all wrapped up on top I’ll be a happy chappy.

After spying this pretty skirt over on Boden I struggled with the idea that summer was somewhat over & was a white skirt really something that would last. Thankfully a few new sweatshirts later and this is my new go to combination.

If there is one thing I love, it’s being able to leave the house with a small bag; this is a luxury to any blogger. Alas behind the camera there is a boyfriend carrying a very un-masculine tote bag filled with a camera and other unnecessary girl things.

Why do we do it?

This week I’m going to try and treat myself to only carrying necessities and free those hands (and shoulder pain) with this cute little cross body from Radley.
