A WEEK IN PHOTOS WITH PENTAX K-S1

I was super excited to test out the new Pentax K-S1, thanks to the lovely folk at Ricoh Imaging.

Challenging me to document a week in photos, which no surprise consisted of a lot of trees and decorations. If you follow my instagram you will have seen my daily dose of #ks1mas.

The camera couldn’t be cuter and fits perfectly in my bag for snapping on the go, which makes a change from my heavy bigger Canon. However don’t be fooled by its fun exterior, this camera means business. Check out the website for all the spec. The K-S1 is usually priced at £599.99 but I have spied it on offer for £499. Shuuuuuuu!

Now one for the guys! Brother, boyfriend, dad? I have to buy for all three, which is a pretty daunting experience as they aren’t the easiest bunch to shop for.

I usually end up buying lots of little knick-knacks like the above but who could resist a cute hot water bottle, colourful socks and an initial mug? – the perfect winter package I think.

TAKE 10 X RIVER ISLAND.

Well isn't take ten just knocking them out of the park this month. A few weeks back we had a collaboration with Free People and this week it's all about River Island knitwear.
We're talking cardigans, fluffy crop tops and oversized jumpers. Perfect now the weather has take a dip. Burrrrr. You can also check us out over on ASOS FF for a 'BLOGGER STYLE CHALLENGE'
- TAKE 10 KNITWEAR. 

Time to layer up and for this look I'm wearing my favourite white Equipment shirt under my cosy oversized jumper and I'm sure could be worn as a dress with thick tights.
I've kept my look casual by wearing my ripped Topshop Jamie jeans but feel my smart coat and silver accessories both from Boden dress the whole thing back up.
Obviously like a magpie attracted to shiny things, as I was with my Next shoes, this bag had to be mine, love at first sight. It also has a long strap which is great for using in the day.

Books, beauty and even homeware. Now we're a little older it's harder to pick things for people who can just buy what they want when they want it. 

I've finally got my first flat and like most of my friends little things for the home are definitely a win. Pieces that aren't necessities but I LOVE to get. Next have some great home bits, I don't know about you but i'm bit obsessed with new bed sets/frames/pillows etc. Like this Scandinavian inspired set which is the whole vibe I want for my flat. #Nextmaswishlist 

To follow on this home theme, how about a cute print like this 'I have enough shoes'. I've been a follower of Ella's blog for a while and thought about time to purchase this perfect print.

For someone with a sweet tooth.

I only had my first Whittard experience last christmas when I received some goodies as a lovely christmas present myself and I haven't looked back. It literally is the nicest hot chocolate i've ever had. For those a little more adventurous with food, check out the orange and chilli. wow.

They aren't just for the choccy fans out there, they also have tea, coffee and even cute accessories, like this Alice in wonderland mug.

Underwear and nightwear are predictable picks for christmas, but what would christmas be with out them eh? Especially if your underwear comes in a little pink box. 

If there's one thing I love it's a new set of PJ's and underwear. Both I usually purchase from good old M&S. However my eyes have been opened to the wonderfulness of ASOS. I had the opportunity to check out their gifts and nightwear last week and it literally is a one stop shop for everything.

Next up for take ten was a collaboration with Free People and first off just want to give a big welcome to Caroline and Amy!
Our theme was party and as you'll see from the other girls posts, there was such a vast selection. From velvet to sequins to lace. What does remain the same is the more boho vibes. Which is more my going out style in preference to a bodycon spandex number.
My Queen of diamonds dress is so darn hard to photograph even on this beautiful sunny winters day.
Hopefully you can see the pretty detailing in the velvet.
It's has lovely buttons on the cuffs and neck, with two key hole openings at the front and back.
It is super short at the front and slightly longer in the back, so I went for extra thick tights.
What winter would be complete without some new boots. These beauties from Ravel, make for a more casual look but perfect for a night on the town and thanks to the chunky heel, no sore feet or stumbles ;)

How was everyone's weekend? We put our Christmas tree up which was super exciting but it also hit me. I have NO presents bought. I have a few ideas which I will share with you guys too. Please leave me any links to your gift ideas as I love to see them for inspiration too.

AFTERNOON TEA.

Last weekend I got the pleasure of spending time with Kristabel, Lucy, Olivia, Daisy and Dunya on a bus. Now this wasn’t just any old bus but a fantastic sightseeing and afternoon tea combo bus. 
A vintage double decker revamped to create little dinning areas where whilst you take in the sights of London you can also tuck into an array of sweet and savoury treats made by the BB Bakery. Delicious!!

Such a fun way to spend an afternoon and the perfect christmas treat for anyone struggling to think of that special something for the person who has everything.

Keeping my look monogram today apart from my good old faithful burgundy Dune shoes. I’m sure you’ve all gathered how much I love these.

I FINALLY found the perfect backpack from Jack Wills. The shape and size means I can fit in my camera and still have room for all my handbag bits. It's been great being hands free while exploring London. I can already tell this won't be my last backpack! Hey Santa.. If you can hear me *Dreams*
